The EGU General Assembly will take place from 3-8 May, 2026 in Vienna and online.

This is the largest and most prominent geoscience conference in Europe, with more than 20,000 participants, and the presence of planetary scientists is growing every year. In 2025 the meeting featured over 30 planetary-science sessions, and this time there are more than 50 proposed sessions related to planetary and Solar System sciences.

The deadline for abstract submission is Thursday, 15 January 2026 at 13:00 CET. If you plan to apply for financial support, the deadline is earlier: 1 December 2025. Any early-career scientist can apply, and there are dedicated funds for participants from European economically disadvantaged countries and from low- to middle-income countries worldwide.
